Room Rates

The hotel boasts 26 rooms. Rooms vary in size and outlook but are decorated to the same standard. Along with the usual facilities associated with a three star hotel, there is free wifi access in our rooms and complimentary mineral water.

Our first floor rooms are more spacious than our standard rooms found on the second and third floors. We can also offer some family style accommodation with interconnecting rooms and a shared bathroom.

~ Standard, Standard Plus and Premier Rooms are offered for single occupancy at £15.00 discount to the rates above. The availability of this single occupancy discount is offered at the discretion of the Cross Keys Hotel and may not be available on certain evenings.

Room Types

Standard Rooms comprise of either twin beds or a double bed, with either a shower or a bath but not both. They have TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. 2 of our standard rooms are smoking rooms.

Standard Plus Rooms are more spacious than Standard Rooms and several (not all) have sofas. They comprise of either twin beds or a double bed although some have a king-size double bed. They are equipped with either a shower or a bath but not both. They have TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.

Premier Rooms are much larger than Standard Rooms. They can be either twin-bedded or a king-size double bedded room. They have baths with electric shower over. They have TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and trouser press.

Single Bedded Rooms have one single bed. One has a bath and the other two have showers. They have TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.

All rooms have complementary wi-fi and mineral water.

Terms & Conditions of Booking

Terms and Conditions for individual bookings. Please note different terms and conditions apply to group bookings of 5 or more rooms and special offer/reduced rates bookings.

• All prices are fully inclusive of VAT at 20% and Service.
• All prices are per room, Twin and Double room rates are based on a maximum of two persons sharing. The Cross Keys Hotel reserves the right to offer all rooms for sale at the Standard Plus rate during certain high season periods.
• Unless otherwise agreed, a non-refundable deposit of £25.00 per person is required to confirm your reservation.
• Dinner, Bed & Breakfast and Short Break rate includes 3 course dinner. Supplements may apply for certain dishes. Short Break rate applies if on Dinner Bed and Breakfast over 2 nights or more.
• All rooms have either bath or shower but not both, please specify at the time of booking.
• The Management cannot guarantee that the accommodation booked will be available before 4 pm. We kindly request you to vacate bedrooms by 11.00am on the day of departure.
• The Hotel is closed 24th-27th (and possibly 28th) December inclusive. Package prices apply to 29th, 30th, 31st December.

• Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. Please ask for connection on check-in.
• Small dogs are permitted at the management's discretion and in selected Guests bedroom only. It is the owner's responsibility to make sure that other residents are not disturbed and any damage will be charged on the final bill.
• Any cancellations or booking amendments must be made in writing to the hotel and acknowledged back by the hotel , also in writing.
• General cancellation policy is 48 hours. A cancellation charge of up to 90% may be made if you cancel within 48 hours prior to arrival and we are unable to re-let your accommodation.
  Cancellations due to weather related activities do not qualify for 48 hour cancellation policy. If it is safe to travel and make your journey to Kelso but you wish to cancel your confirmed accommodation because a specific activity or event is affected by weather cancelation policy is 7 days. In such circumstances a 100% cancellation charge will be made if we are unable to re-sell your accommodation.
• Payments: Cheques are accepted only for amount covered by valid card. All major credit, debit and charge cards accepted, except Diners Club. No credit facilities are offered unless pre-arranged in writing before arrival.
