Kelso’s long and varied history is an interesting one indeed, and the Cross Keys Hotel makes regular appearances in the town’s story. Since 1769 the hotel has provided shelter to weary travelers, hosted grand balls and banquets and served as a coaching inn. Today, the Cross Keys is still at the centre of Kelso Life, no more so than when hosting special wedding anniversaries, birthday parties, and all types of family celebrations and meals.

The Becattelli family, in our 27 years at the Cross Keys, have had the privilege of being at the very centre of these celebrations. We have hosted weddings for couples which in turn have been followed by the christenings of the couple’s babies, followed by those childrens’ 18th or 21st birthday celebrations and on three occasions now, those children’s weddings.

No matter what the occasion and irrespective of how many guests you invite, we have a room that will be suitable for you. Better still we won't charge you anything for using our Dickson or Oakroom as long as you have our catering (subject to availability and number of persons). Our Ballroom is also free of venue hire any day of the week except Saturday.
